Welcome to our sanctuary!
If we have any animals available for adoption, they are listed below. However, most of our dogs and horses are not available for adoption as they will spend the rest of their lives with us. But if you're interested in adopting a horse or dog, but don't see any on our site please don't hesitate to reach out. We have connections with other rescues and can assist in facilitating owner-to-owner adoptions.

Meet Henley 💛

Henley is a 10.5-year-old sweetheart with a gentle soul who's ready to spend her golden years with someone special. After her previous owner had to move into a nursing home, Henley spent five long months in a boarding facility, waiting and hoping. Time was running out—until Four Dogs Rescue stepped in to give her a second chance.

Thanks to the love and dedication of some amazing people (and her wonderful foster mama, Tina!), Henley is now safe and cared for. But her journey isn’t over—now we’re on a mission to find her the loving forever home she truly deserves.

Henley is a mellow, affectionate companion who just wants to be near her person and curl up on a cozy couch. She would thrive in a calm, quiet home where she can be the only pet. Because of her age and temperament, we’re also looking for a home without small children.

Up-to-date on vaccinations
On a special diet (subject to change as we learn more about her needs)
Currently being monitored by our vet to ensure she’s feeling her best

We’re still getting to know her, but one thing’s for sure—Henley is full of love and ready to share it with someone who will cherish her.
