Mission Statement

To provide senior animals who would otherwise be neglected or euthanized a safe, loving, homestyle environment to live out the remainder of their lives and to partner with other animal rescue organizations to rescue and re-home animals living in unsafe conditions.

Our Story

We, Jay & Erin, met in Boston's North End, each with our 2 dogs (Erin had Oliver & Trixie, Jay had Tonka & Zoe). As we watched our pets age, we identified an unmet need for senior animals who were often surrendered or neglected through no fault of their own. Thus, Four Dogs SAR was started as a tribute to our First Four. The unconditional love and appreciation animals give is truly remarkable. As our love for animals grew we expanded our organization beyond dogs. That is why we are here and determined to help as many as we can.
